Fanatics Launches ‘The Ten’ Program to Reward Collectors for Finding Top Sports Cards

Fanatics Collectibles, in collaboration with Fanatics Live, has unveiled their latest venture, ‘The Ten’, a groundbreaking program that celebrates and rewards collectors for finding the most coveted sports cards on the market. Drawing inspiration from influential lists like the “Billboard Hot 100” and the FBI’s “Most Wanted”, ‘The Ten’ showcases a dynamic selection of ten cards from various sports. Released on Wednesday, this innovative initiative offers collectors the opportunity to win $10,000 in Fanatics Live credit when they successfully pull one of these highly sought-after cards on the Fanatics Live app.

‘The Ten’ will feature a monthly rotation of cards carefully chosen for their popularity and rarity. Some notable examples include the elusive 2023-24 Bowman Chrome University Bronny James/LeBron James 1/1 dual-auto card and the yet-to-be-pulled 2023 Bowman Chrome Baseball Draft Tom Brady 12/50 inscribed card. This program promises to keep collectors on the edge of their seats with each new release.

The inaugural list of ‘The Ten’ includes both legendary athletes and rising stars across various sports. Fans can expect to find names like Tom Brady and Steph Curry alongside MLB talents Corbin Carroll and Anthony Volpe, as well as NBA sensations Luka Doncic and Chet Holmgren. With a diverse selection of cards from popular brands like Panini, Upper Deck, Topps, and Bowman, ‘The Ten’ ensures that collectors from all sports will have a chance to participate.

James Kollar, the senior director of marketing at Fanatics Live, expressed the program’s primary goal: enhancing the collecting experience and giving back to the collector community. Kollar emphasized the importance of community engagement and explained how ‘The Ten’ allows Fanatics Live participants and collectors to have a say in the monthly card selections. By involving the community in the decision-making process, Fanatics hopes to create a sense of ownership and inclusivity.

‘The Ten’ also serves as a platform to promote new products and reignite interest in existing releases with chase cards. Dealers and collectors alike can showcase these highly sought-after cards, generating excitement and fostering discussion within the community. By highlighting the most desirable cards, Fanatics Live aims to create a vibrant and active marketplace for collectors.

Fanatics Live has also planned a series of special shows and events centered around ‘The Ten’. Pack and box breaks will be featured, celebrating major discoveries and unveiling the upcoming card collections. Additionally, a dedicated webpage will track the cards and highlight the collectors who have found them, adding an engaging narrative to the program.

‘The Ten’ program’s focus extends beyond the rewards and the cards themselves. It aims to embrace the stories behind the collectors and their finds, offering a unique storytelling aspect that sets it apart. As Fanatics Live continues to experience consistent growth, with an average watch time of 56 minutes, it is clear that the community-focused platform has captured the attention and loyalty of collectors around the world. James Kollar expressed his excitement for the potential impact of ‘The Ten’ on the Fanatics brand and the collector community, suggesting that this program could be a game-changer in the industry.

With ‘The Ten’, Fanatics Collectibles and Fanatics Live have introduced a thrilling and inclusive program that not only rewards collectors but also fosters a sense of camaraderie and excitement within the collecting community. By celebrating the top sports cards and the stories behind their discovery, ‘The Ten’ promises to revolutionize the way collectors engage with the hobby.
