Formula 1 Renews Exclusive Partnership with Topps

In a move that solidifies its commitment to fans and collectors, Formula 1 has announced the renewal of its exclusive trading card and sticker agreement with Topps, a notable subsidiary of Fanatics. By extending this multi-year deal, Formula 1 affirms Topps’ position as the primary trading card licensee for the prestigious international racing series, a role the company has proudly held since 2020.

As part of the renewed partnership, Topps will maintain its production of trading card and sticker collections featuring drivers from the Formula 1, Formula 2, and Formula 3 series. Moreover, Topps will actively participate in various 2024 FIA Formula One World Championship Grands Prix events, commencing with the Austrian Grand Prix. Fans attending these events can anticipate acquiring exclusive and sought-after trading cards, elevating their connection to the sport and its iconic drivers.

Emily Prazer, Formula 1’s Chief Commercial Officer, and Kelvin Smith, Senior Vice President of Global Licensing and Partner Development at Fanatics Collectibles, both expressed excitement and appreciation for the partnership’s extension. They emphasized how this collaboration plays a pivotal role in engaging a wider audience and bridging the gap between fans and their beloved drivers and teams through unique and captivating collectibles. The goal of this renewed agreement is to enrich the overall fan experience by introducing special products and unforgettable programs, although the precise duration of the deal has not been disclosed at this time.

Overall, the continued partnership between Formula 1 and Topps signifies a commitment to fostering a deeper bond between fans and the sport they love. Through exclusive trading cards and stickers, this collaboration enhances the memorabilia available to fans, bringing them closer to the excitement and adrenaline of Formula 1 racing. As the relationship continues to evolve, fans can eagerly anticipate more innovative products and experiences that celebrate the thrilling world of Formula 1.
