Panini America is at it again, breaking new ground in the sports memorabilia industry with the launch of Panini College, a revolutionary platform specifically designed for college athletes looking to capitalize on their name, image, and likeness (NIL). This innovative initiative aims to provide these athletes with the exciting opportunity to have their very own trading cards under the prestigious Panini NIL brand.

In a statement regarding the launch of Panini College, Jason Howarth, Senior Vice President of Marketing and Athlete Relations for Panini America, expressed the company’s commitment to providing every collegiate athlete with the opportunity to have their own trading card. He emphasized the platform’s goal of reshaping the trading card market for athletes across all sports, granting them the chance to benefit from their NIL and gain recognition in the sports memorabilia world.

Panini College is just the latest addition to Panini’s extensive involvement in the collegiate NIL landscape. The company has already formed partnerships with notable athletes such as Lexi Rodriguez, a volleyball All-American from the University of Nebraska who is Panini’s first female NIL athlete, alongside football standouts Quinn Ewers, Tre Johnson, Arch Manning, Dylan Raiola, Julian Sayin, and Zachariah Branch.

Earlier in 2023, Panini made waves with the launch of the Caitlin Clark Collection, a highly popular series celebrating the phenomenal career of University of Iowa basketball star Caitlin Clark.
